The Holy month of Ramadhan allows Muslims worldwide to reflect upon the needs of others and indulge in charity work through giving to others. This faith based initiative was used at Feedo Needo to support those who may not have a warm meal to break their fast with during Ramadhan, a ritual which is necessary during this holy period. Therefore, we collected as many donations to distribute as possible and provided warm and tasty meals to various community organisations, hostels, homeless shelters and individuals who would have otherwise never received a hot meal on time. It is this deep rooted sense of duty which allows us to continue our work of feeding the nation one meal at a time, once again, it is the hard work of our volunteers from other likeminded organisations who have helped with this provision- something we are proud and grateful for. “If you cannot feed 100 people, then just feed 1”, a quote by Mother Theresa which stands in line with our values of feeding the nation one meal at a time and giving back no matter how small.
